Let your past make you better, not bitter.

Like many of us, I have romantic ideals.

I want to be the Poetic Waif, the starving artist, a princess, a fairy, something ethereal.

I want to be Shakespeare's Ophelia, the Labyrinth's Sarah Williams, Goethe's Gretchen, a nostalgic, tragic figure, living in a world of air and dreams.

I am choosing to live in a dream world, because I cannot live in the real one. Even when I try to be a part of it; I dissociate, and all that progress slips away. Among many things, the most prominent 'problem' of mine is dissociation.

I am many, I am one. A puzzle without the box. One day maybe I'll unearth that picture and be able to pick up the pieces, but for now, I'm scattered. And seeing the big picture is just beyond my abilities.

I'm an old soul in a young vessel that's constantly under construction - and that's quite alright with me.

I post anything and everything that resonates with my mood; but, don't we all?

The things I reblog the most are as follows; nudity, etherealism, recreational drugs, sensuality, self-confidence, self-destruction, my fight with dissociative identity disorder & recovery from bulimia, spirituality and philosophy, burlesque, pin up, and all things fifties straight back to the twenties.

We're all here in this life for such a short time; so have heart, and be kind to those you see. Everyone is fighting their own battle.
